Meet Peter Mwansa. A Zambian Fashion enthusiast. The owner of a fashion brand called house of PML, meaning house of PeterMylife. Peter decided to start his brand due to his love for fashion and everything nice. This can be seen in his personal style which is undeniably amazing.
The area of specialty for House of PML is bespoke tailor made clothes for both Men and women for any occasion. Peter strives to bring out quality at its best and also keeping track of what’s trending. No wonder he always kills those looks. Peter has mastered the art of perfection when it comes to creation and styling of outfits. Attention to detail is never left to chance with Peter and this leads to blissful outfits.
Peter has always and forever been addicted to fashion. He started his blogging journey in 2015 and monetized his brand in 2017. His fans inspired him to come up with his own fashion house because each time he would get so many people wanting to be dressed by him or asking about where he purchased most of his clothes. And through this he got inspired to come up with something that could provide his fans with easy access to his personal style and acquire it with ease.
When he started, he was simply doing things for himself and was not doing it to get famous or be seen by someone, he was just a simple guy from a small town called Luanshya passionate about looking great. Little did he know there were people that where looking and getting inspired greatly. Years came by and he found himself in Lusaka conquering his fashion dreams. Wow, indeed all we need is a dream accompanied by desire and self belief to make anything happen. That’s exactly what Peter did.
Honestly even when he launched his brand, Peter did not expect the response to be as tremendous as it is now. The response from the public has been so overwhelming and he still can’t believe it. His amazing work was able to attract international clients in just 5 months of launching. God is good!!!
As a way of keeping his business afloat and improving what he does, Peter believes in Creativity, consistency and innovation. He is always looking at ways to better himself and his brand. As we all know, in this modern age we are living in, everything is competitive and that’s why Peter believes in consistent personal and brand improvement.
When it comes to challenges being faced in the fashion industry, Peter wouldn’t say he has had many challenges on a personal level but on a national level he thinks the fashion industry needs so much support from the government.Indeed if the government would believe in the potential and invest in the Zambian fashion industry, more would be gained from it economically as it would prompt creativity and increase employment in the country.
Peter’s vision is impressively motivating, in the coming years he sees himself rising to great heights. Who says he cant be the next Tom-ford? dreams are free and it is only by dreaming that our goals become reality. Imagine if Gianni Versace never had a dream of one day owning a fashion empire, his dream would have never manifested itself into reality. So its safe to say if we don’t dream about who we want to be, we will never be . Peter’s vision is bigger than you can imagine so he doesn’t envision his brand to be on a local scale but on an international scale and be rest assured to see his brand prosper.

“Be true to yourself, don’t look at what the next person is doing, be creative, Stay consistent and follow your heart”
